If #45 was “delusional”, as his lawyer is suggesting, he should be committed for a while to a facility that can help his mental health.
If #45 doesn’t understand your words matter and if you incite a riot and/or violence, you are responsible and will be held responsible by going to prison, it’s time he does.
If #45 doesn’t think the rules apply to him, it doesn’t matter. He is not a god, he is not different than any other citizen of the USA, and he is not in a country where we want a king, dictator, or autocrat. He is free to leave and move to another country.
Congress: How about passing a law or Constitutional Amendment that if you are in prison, you can not be a Public Official?
Public: How about not supporting and not electing to Public Office (including President) a prisoner or a person twice impeached while President, indicted three times for separate incidents, and facing more lawsuits*?
#45: How about having some decency and drop out of the race? Nixon did the country a service by resigning*, why won’t you show the same respect for our country and citizens?
“…Fighting Words
“Government may prohibit the use of “fighting words,” which is speech that is used to inflame another and that will likely incite physical retaliation. Likewise, language that is meant to incite the masses toward lawless action is not protected. This can include speech that is intended to incite violence or to encourage the audience to commit illegal acts. The test for fighting words is whether an average citizen would view the language as being inherently likely to provoke a violent response”

Crimes Involving Speech
The First Amendment also does not provide protection for forms of speech that are used to commit a crime, such as perjury, extortion or harassment. …”
